California is a unique state, and we love and appreciate how unique this state is.
With that said, California has an enormous amount of problems that are unique to California and Californians alone. They can only be tackled if we focus exclusively on those issues that affect millions of Californians within our state borders.

A Calipublican is someone who believes in progress, but not progress for progress's sake. They believe in an efficient and transparent government that works for the people of California, and in return an efficient government is a less costly government.

We are not afraid of discussing new, bold ideas that will help progress our state (and likewise the rest of the country) to bring a better life to our citizens.
We are Californians, and our platform and ideas are centered around helping Californians foremost.

No, our focus is exclusively on California and our state and local governments. As such, discussions on national politics of who is or isn't running for President or Congress does not concern us.

A moderate Democrat in California will still vote with the extreme policies of their Party a majority of the time. They still subscribe to the idea that government is always the solution to every problem.

As a Calipublican, we believe people are the solutions to our problems. Whether it be citizens, the home school teacher, the blue collar worker, the innovative entrepreneur creating a new solution to our problem, they are all part of the solution and our idea is to create a California that fosters that spirit of innovation, brevity, and creativity.

Our platform is not a "watered down" version of the California Democratic Platform. It is full of new and bold solutions that Democrats in California rarely talk about.

For example, our energy policy believes in creating an "all of the above" strategy focusing on green renewable energy, along with responsibly curated legacy fuel sources. Our goal is to create such an abundance of energy in California that our citizens enjoy the lowest cost of utilities in the country, and export it to many western states.

Absolutely! You have heard the saying "As California goes, so goes the nation." That phrase has taken on some ominous meaning in the past couple of years, but we believe it's a reason for us to work even harder on accomplishing our goals.

We believe that we can accomplish great things here in California. We can have our government be the most transparent and accountable utilizing 21st century technology. We believe we can solve energy issues and become a hub of energy production. We believe we can return power to the people and localize our governments.

Those are ideas worth fighting for, and once they take root here, they will take root in the rest of the nation.

Nope. We welcome all Californians who are looking to create a better California for themselves, their families, and their communities.
